Lotus Olympus Gold pumps set a new standard in performance and reliability.
They have been developed to take high volumes of water, which cont~ quantities of solids to either, a waterfall or filter without clogging.
Other pumps adapted for this purpose use ‘modified’ which reduce the head of water.
The Olympus Gold rate a hardened impeller that breaks up the solids enabling them to easily pass through the pump. This system has no detrimental effect on the head so as a consequence the Olympus Gold 25000 can deliver a volume of water
Up to 8.3m high making it ideal for larger waterfalls and filters. The asynchronous motor is sealed for life and incorporates a thermal resetting cut out which protects the pump in the unlikely event it becomes blocked.
Conventional pumps allow blanket weed and other pond debris to circulate in the pond, whilst the Olympus is able to break down this material as it enters the volute and deposit it harmlessly at the bottom of the pond. To guarantee no loss of head which is usually associated with solids handling pumps, Trident designed a revolutionary macerating impellor. The oversized vanes enable the pump to deliver a large volume of water at a high head.
