MULTISTAGE WITH MEDIUM
Multistage filters were developed by Blagdon to provide three distinct filter stages
Stage 1
Cyclone separates out the largest and heaviest particles whilst increasing the oxygen content of the water. This unique design gives even distribution of oxygen rich water into stage 2 without the use of a spray bar, which can clog.
Stage 2
Patent pending system of filter elements effectively pre-strains the dirt and debris from the water before moving to stage 3. A filter brush is also provided for initial use or to reduce cleaning frequency in very dirty ponds.
Stage 3
Unique moulded water distribution plate designed to give perfect water flow through the special Multistage Medium (Alfagrog) ensuring excellent biological activity in all areas of the filter
