AQUA DRAIN SET — pump shaft and pond drain Removes dirt and mud from the bottom of your garden pond.
How it works
Mud and dirt that has accumulated at the deepest point of the pond escapes through the bottom drain (A) which has been installed there. The bottom drain is connected via a PVC tube (diameter. 100 mm) (B) to the pump shaft (C), which has been sunk into the ground at surface level.
Using the Aqua Craft pump causes the water level in the pump shaft to sink. As a result, pond water flows up the pipe and carries dirt and mud to the pump shaft. While the larger particles settle, the dirt that is being carried by the water is transported, with the help of the Aqua Craft pump, to the connected filter (D).
